Digital communication
Communication, a factor of change
As a visual communication specialist my role is to develop a positive ecosystem of a multi-channel communication system. To create content, coordinate and deploy.
Communication for development is as an environment that encompasses and acts in all digital dimensions such as social networks, websites, seminars, blogs, newletters etc.
We can define communication for development as the set of tools, information, action and evaluation processes that favor local contexts and that contribute to a good understanding of their situation by individuals and communities, to an awareness of the potentialities and options available to them.
All communication processes and contents take into account that development has great chances to become sustainable if socio-cultural factors of the populations concerned are closely taken into account and if beneficiaries do participate in the reflection on their situation and in the choice of the objectives to be achieved and the means to achieve them.
Storytelling is an ancestral and human approach to the art of telling stories. It is a communication method that is not new, but which takes on its full meaning in a digital communication strategy.
Digital communication
To communicate is to put in common. It is the act that constitutes us
Film and visual content are powerful multicanal tools that can used for a classical communication such as seminars, meetings and newsletters but is also the most efficient digital tool streaming for millions of people to watch such as websites, youtube, facebook, instagram and specialized blogs.
Nowadays, 78% of content that is being seing on the internet is video.
Why do we need to communicate ?
To raise awareness, mobilize the general public, beneficiaries and decision makers. How to embark on major achievements without creating emotional and interlectual awareness ?
To empower beneficiaries and the team through communication skills such as story-telling with success stories.
To educate, change behaviors, influence and to motivate. Because projects are not made without men and women and good internal communication is the key to teamwork.
To exchange great practices, tools and develop a network with other organizations.
